iPro Sport Cup first round draw live on BBC Newcastle

The RFL have revealed that the draw for the first round will be broadcast live on BBC Newcastle on Thursday November 26 from 6.45pm.

Rugby league fans wanting to listen to the draw live can do so via the BBC iPlayer by visiting www.bbc.co.uk/bbcnewcastle.

Last year’s winners North Wales Crusaders are joined in the draw by National Conference League teams Leigh Miners Rangers and Wath Brow Hornets, as well as the other 13 Kingstone Press League 1 clubs.

The draw will be made by former England, Huddersfield Giants, Hull FC and York City Knights player Chris Thorman, who is from Wallsend, near Newcastle.

The eight ties will be played over the weekend of February 20 – 21.
