Ireland international Declan O’Donnell joins Ottawa Aces
Ireland international Declan O’Donnell is the latest player to join Ottawa Aces ahead of the 2021 League 1 campaign.
O’Donnell came through the academy at Wigan, and has previously featured for Leigh and Workington.
“I am very honoured and proud to have been given the opportunity with Ottawa Aces for 2021,” said O’Donnell.
“I can’t wait to get stuck in with all the lads and staff. Hopefully we can make history with the club. I look forward to meeting everyone in Ottawa and hopefully growing the game out there too.”

Head coach Laurent Frayssinous added: “Dec is an Irish international who will bring a strong physical presence to the team.
“He takes a lot of pride in his defence, and also has fantastic skills. His versatility will be a key strength to the team. He is a tough warrior and his enthusiasm will drive standards within the group. I am delighted to have him in the team, as he is a winner.”
