Jack Higginson joins Rochdale on loan

Leigh centre Jack Higginson has joined Rochdale on a month’s loan.

Higginson, 21, joined the Centurions in the off-season from Wigan having played for Ireland in last autumn’s European Championship.

Coach John Duffy said: “The loan will give Jack the opportunity for regular game time and at the end of the month, we will then assess where he is at.”

Higginson made his Leigh debut in the defeat to Bradford last Sunday.
