Jackson Hastings urges everyone to “stay strong” during coronavirus lockdown

Man of Steel Jackson Hastings has urged everyone to “stay strong” during these difficult times.

The rugby league season has been suspended indefinitely due to the coronavirus outbreak that has swept the nation.

Hastings has shared a motivational message on his social media, with the Wigan half-back urging people to stick together through the lockdown period.

He said: “I just wanted to tell everyone to keep their heads up.

“I get a lot of tweets and messages about people being upset and how the lockdown is affecting people.

“I’m in the exact same boat. I’m working on myself every single day. I’m working on relationships of mine. I’m working on being a better person too.

“So, I just want everyone to know that you’re not in it alone and if you need some help reach out and ask people that you care about for help and opinions and advice and don’t keep it all locked up.

“Obviously it is a tough time for everyone and hopefully we can resume normal life as we know it as soon as possible but I just wanted to make sure people know that we all struggle and that we can all get through it together.

“So, make sure you reach out, get out in the sun today, put a smile on your face and enjoy it and surround yourself with people that love you.

“I just want to let you guys know that I’m here if anybody needs me. I’m just a message away. All the best and let’s do it together.”
