Leeds forward James Donaldson has revealed he would like to stay at the club beyond this season.

The 27-year-old signed a one-year deal with the Rhinos after impressing on trial in pre-season.

Donaldson has made 23 appearances for the club this season and the Cumbrian would love to extend his stay at Emerald Headingley.

He told the Yorkshire Evening Post: “There’s nothing more I’d like to do than stay here but it’s up to Kev [Sinfield, director of rugby] and Rich [Agar, interim coach].

“I’ll just keep doing what I’m doing on the field and I’m sure it’ll take care of itself.”
