Jarrod Sammut named in Malta Knights squad to face Wales Dragonhearts
Wigan Warriors halfback Jarrod Sammut has been named in the Malta Knights squad to face Wales Dragonhearts this Saturday.
The former NRL and current Super League player recently self-funded a 35,000km trip to represent his Maltese heritage just 24 hours after finishing the Super League season.
Sammut, 32, put in a man of the match display to help Malta beat Italy and then played a second test against Turkey.
The Australian, along with New South Wales Premiership-based brothers Tyler and Kyle Cassel, have been pictured at Sydney Airport making their journey over to Wales.

The clash is being hosted at Brewery Field, Bridgend on Saturday 23 November.
