Josh Jones has extended his contract with Salford for a further two seasons.

Jones has been a key part of the Red Devils’ rise up the table and joins Lee Mossop, Jake Bibby and Josh Wood in agreeing new terms with the club over the past few days.

Head Coach Ian Watson said: “Josh is another great signing for the club that adds to our stability of creating our team going forward.

“He is young and willing to work on the areas of development we have spoken about within his game, but he’s proved over the season he’s a very dynamic player for us who has all the talent and ability to become an international player in the future.”

Jones added: “This is a great club and I really enjoy myself here which is so important. The club are clearly on the rise and have come a long way in a short time – why wouldn’t you want to be a part of it?”
