Jordan Walne joins Barrow
Barrow have signed forward Jordan Walne on a one-year contract from Hull KR.
The 26-year-old will add a lot of versatility to the Raiders this year, being able to play in the back-row, front-row and at loose forward.
Walne found chances limited in Super League with Rovers last season, making just eight appearances. He enjoyed loan spells with Leigh Centurions and York City Knights.
On signing Walne, a Barrow spokesperson said: “The board and coaching staff have had recent discussions and decided that we were a little light in the forward positions and Jordan adds real strength to the squad.
“This promises to be a great season for the club.”
