Salford centre Krisnan Inu has signed a new one-year deal with the club.

The 32-year-old joined the Red Devils earlier this year on a short-team deal after leaving Widnes due to their financial struggles.

A former New Zealand and Samoa international, Inu has scored nine tries and kicked 77 goals in 20 games for Salford so far.

Inu made the switch to Super League with Catalans in 2015 following a stint in rugby union with Stade Francais.

The centre has earned six caps for New Zealand and one for Samoa. He has made 224 career appearances for Parramatta Eels, New Zealand Warriors, Canterbury Bulldogs, Catalans, Widnes and Salford.
