Lachlan Coote closes gap on the leaders in Man of Steel race
Lachlan Coote is up to third in the Super League Man of Steel race.
The St Helens full-back has been one of the stand-out performers this season for the league leaders in his first season since arriving from the NRL.
A Man of the Match performance in the thrashing of Hull on Friday moves him on to 18 points, level with Wakefield prop David Fifita.
There’s no change at the top, where Warrington’s Blake Austin still leads the way on 25 points, three ahead of Salford’s Jackson Hastings.
George Williams moves in to the top 10 after picking up all three points in Wigan’s win over Hull KR.
The standings are published publicly for the last time next week, before a blackout until the Man of Steel awards dinner on October 6.
