Lachlan Coote given one-match ban
St Helens full-back Lachlan Coote has been given a one-match ban by the Rugby Football League’s match review panel.
The Scotland international has been charged with a Grade B dangerous contact following last Friday’s 40-6 win over Leeds at the Totally Wicked Stadium.
Coote is set to miss Saints’ final game of the regular season against Salford on Friday but will be free to play in their semi-final play-off on Friday, October 1.
The 31-year-old, who has represented Great Britain, will join Hull KR on a two-year deal from 2022 after three impressive seasons with Saints.
Coote’s ban was the only one to come from the penultimate round of Super League matches but Catalans forward Matt Whitley received a caution for dangerous contact in their 30-18 home defeat to Huddersfield on Saturday.
