Lauaki gets go ahead for Hull move
Hull FC have confirmed that new signing Hame Lauaki has been granted a VISA enabling his move to go through.
The 25-year-old is now awaiting the return of his paperwork and passport and once that has been received, flights and travel can be arrange for his arrival in England.
Once here, Lauaki will continue his rehabilitation from his arm injury with Hull FC physio Simon Pope and his new teammates.
The move had been delayed as Lauaki had to prove he could speak English, despite living in New Zealand for over 20 years.
However, he recently received his Certificate of English Speaking Competency, which has cleared the way for his VISA to be granted.
Hull FC Chief Executive James Rule said, “ This has been a long and frustrating process, however our patience has been rewarded and we are all excited about welcoming Hame into our squad.”
