Leeds United team-mates Andy Hughes and Patrick Kisnorbo have divided loyalties ahead of the Gillette World Club Challenge which sees Engage Super League Champions Leeds Rhinos take on Australian Grand Final winners Melbourne Storm at Elland Road on Sunday February 28.

Rugby League-mad midfielder Hughes will be rooting for the Rhinos to be crowned world champions whilst Melbourne-born defender Kisnorbo, who began his footballing career Down Under before moving to this country, will be cheering on the Aussies.

Hughes said: “I’m looking forward to the game and hopefully we can get some revenge over the Australians after the Four Nations Final.

“I’ll be down at Elland Road cheering for the Rhinos and it would be good to see lots of Leeds United fans down there to lend their support.”

The Gillette World Club Challenge sees two hemispheres collide at Elland Road, Leeds, and tickets start from just £20 or £10 for concessions. Supporters can also take advantage of the popular Family Offer by purchasing two adult tickets and two juniors for just £40.

As with the previous World Club Challenge matches staged at Elland Road, demand to see the best two clubs sides in the world is expected to be massive so supporters are encouraged to purchase early.

This will be the third consecutive year that Leeds have contested the World Club Challenge at Elland Road. The fixture is a repeat of the 2008 clash which saw Leeds complete a memorable 11-4 victory over Melbourne in front of a crowd of 33,204.
