Lewis signs on for Cronulla
Luke Lewis has signed on with the Cronulla Sharks for another season, ending hopes of a move to St Helens.
The back rower had been linked with a move to Super League, but has now decided to stay put with the Sharks.
“I love the club,” Lewis told Fox Sports News this week.
“It’s been a great last four years and 2016 was amazing. It would have been hard to see myself in a different colour besides the blue, white and black.”
The new deal should see the 33-year-old at Cronulla for the 2017 season, with Lewis taking his career on a season by season basis now.
