Liam Hood to captain Leigh in return to Super League
Scotland international Liam Hood will captain Leigh in their return to Super League this season.
The 29-year-old hooker first joined Leigh in 2016 and has made 96 appearances for the Centurions, scoring 37 tries.
Hood made his international debut for Scotland in 2012 and has won seven caps for the Bravehearts so far.

Leigh have also announced that Joe Mellor and Tyrone McCarthy will be the club’s vice-captains in 2021.
Half-back Mellor, 30, joined the club from Toronto Wolfpack and has made more than 200 career appearances.
Forward McCarthy, 31, arrived from Salford in the off-season and is a two-time Challenge Cup winner. He has played in two World Cups for Ireland and has won 19 international caps.
