Littler and Elima face disciplinary hearing
Salford City Reds player Stuart Littler will face the RFL Disciplinary Committee today after being charged with illegal use of the forearm in his side’s defeat at Leeds Rhinos last Friday.
Littler was referred to the hearing by the RFL Match Review Panel over the 50th-minute challenge on Ryan Bailey.
Tuesday’s hearing will also sit in judgment on Olivier Elima of Catalans Dragons following his dismissal for a high tackle on Jonny Lomax of St Helens in the 24th minute of last Saturday’s Engage Super League Round 3 fixture in Perpignan.
The RFL have issued a formal caution to Phil Bailey of Wigan for a choke tackle on Warrington’s Ryan Atkins and sent a warning letter to Kyle Eastmond of St Helens for a high tackle on Catalans centre Chris Walker.
