Lo and Aiton in Papua New Guinea squad
Castleford-bound winger Garry Lo is one of two European-based players to make the Papua New Guinea World Cup squad.
The other is former Leeds hooker Paul Aiton, now at Catalans, and another ex-Leeds number nine, James Segeyaro, is also included.
Following their success in winning the Queensland Intrust Super Cup competition, 10 players from the SP PNG Hunters are in Michael Marum’s squad.
PNG play Australia and Fiji in warm-up games before playing Wales, Ireland and USA in the pool stages of the World Cup, with all their games in the competition to be played in Port Moresby.
