London Broncos recruit Brad Foster on 2022 goals and playing at Plough Lane
London Broncos recruit Brad Foster has discussed the club’s goals for the 2022 Championship campaign.
Foster made the step up to the Championship during the off-season from League 1’s Doncaster.
It’s a year of change for the Broncos, moving into a part-time model and calling Plough Lane their new home in Wimbledon.
The club will share the stadium with Football League One’s AFC Wimbledon.
Foster is amongst a handful of new faces at the club, including former NRL full-back Siti Mocidreke and Italy international Dean Parata.
A personal trainer by day, Foster has enjoyed the transition to the Broncos and is excited to attract new fans to Plough Lane. He will wear shirt number 13 in 2022 for his new club.

On the season goals, Foster said: “It will more of just making sure I hit a certain amount of appearance and get out what I need to get out of playing at that Championship level.
“But really this first season, I just want to take it as it comes and just enjoy my rugby there.
“The realistic goal for this year is that we want to make a really competitive team. We really want to make Wimbledon a place where fans enjoy coming and play some good rugby.
“The goal is to get into that play-off position. Everyone saw Whitehaven shock a few last year. I think the goal this year is not to be like that, but we want to shock a few.
“Going from full-time to part-time, a lot of people have written us off already. We’ve got a really good, competitive squad together.
“Hopefully we will open a few eyes and shock a few and get into that play-off spot.”
