Brennan was diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer in September last year whilst playing for the club’s academy team.

“Jack played for Greenwich Admirals and was selected to represent the Broncos at scholarship level before gaining an academy contract.

“The club and all who knew and loved him have lost a great bloke and a true teammate. The club and all who knew and loved him have lost a great bloke and a true teammate.”

Last year over £18,000 was raised for a sponsored walk, in which 300 people walked from The Stoop to Greenwich to raise funds for Jack.

A minutes silence will be held before the Broncos’ next game at The Stoop on Friday night when they host Warrington. A book of condolence will also be available in the Kings’ Bar for those who wish to leave a message.
