Lowes admits Bradford were ‘rubbish’
Bradford Bulls coach James Lowes was angry with himself after his team’s 48-4 defeat at Hull KR in the Qualifiers on Saturday.
Rovers ran riot at the KC Lightstream Stadium, with Kieran Dixon nabbing four tries.
“We were rubbish. I take full responsibility for the defeat. It’s not good enough and the buck stops with me,” said Lowes, according to BBC Sport.
“We got whipped against a good side and it could be another big score against Leigh if I don’t get the players believing in themselves.
“The mental side of our game is not up to speed and there isn’t a belief in ourselves when things go against us.”
