Magic Weekend preview: Castleford v Leeds
It’s an age old cliché ‘save the best ’til last’ but Castleford v Leeds has turned out to be the perfect end to the 2017 Magic Weekend.
Castleford are playing some of the best rugby ever seen in Super League and sit top on 20 points.
They’ve conceded just 214 points and wait for it…a staggering 476 points have been scored. That’s 137 more than the equally free-scoring Rhinos.
The Tigers also have one up on the weekend’s opponents thanks to the 66-10 mauling of Leeds back in March at the Jungle. Castleford are priced at 4/11 here, whilst Leeds are a long shot at 2/1.
If you want more value for Cas then you could give them a -8 handicap at 5/6, but given the Rhinos recent impressive results, we can’t see many points in this one- especially with no home advantage.
