Marsh to miss rest of Vikings’ season
Widnes winger Stefan Marsh will miss the rest of the season with a knee injury, the Vikings have confirmed.
The injury was sustained in last week’s win over Wigan.
“We’re assessing him this week but the early signs mean he will definitely miss the rest of this year,” said Widnes coach Denis Betts.
“We’re still waiting for some feedback from specialists to determine the extent of the injury and that could mean he requires surgery.
“I think that Stefs performance, and in particular that tackle, optimised the teams attitude last week.
“Stef has got that electric pace from a standing start and he is a loss to the team.”
