Mason Lino arrives at Wakefield
Samoa star Mason Lino has arrived at Wakefield for pre-season training.
The 26-year-old has joined Trinity on a three-year deal from 2021 and he has been given the number seven shirt at the club.
Lino has begun pre-season training with Chris Chester’s side ahead of the new Super League campaign.
The Samoan made 34 NRL appearances for New Zealand Warriors and Newcastle Knights, scoring five tries and kicking 64 goal. He has earned three caps for his country.
Speaking at the time of his signing announcement in November, Lino said: “It felt like it was a really good move for me to come over and hopefully I can make a big contribution to the team.
“Super League was always something I wanted to have a crack at and it was a goal to come over.”
