McNally returns to Whitehaven
Young Huddersfield scrum-half Gregg McNally has returned to Whitehaven on a dual-registration deal.
McNally, 20, joined the Giants in 2008 but spent the entire 2009 season on loan in Cumbria before permanently moving to Yorkshire for this season.
However, his first team opportunities have been further limited by the arrival of Danny Brough, and McNally will now spend an initial month on loan at the Recre ahead of a likely dual-registration deal.
The dual-registration system is new for the 2010 season and enables Championship clubs to sign Super League players on a week-to-week basis. If players are not involved with their respective Super League squad for that weekend, they are free to play for their Championship club.
