Moore faces four further charges
Bradford’s Scott Moore faces four further charges after a police pursuit that ended in Leigh.
Moore, who appeared at Wigan and Leigh Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, is now accused of two assault offences, dangerous driving and possession of a weapon for the discharge of an electrical incapacitation device.
The 29-year-old had previously been charged with failing to stop at the scene of a collision and driving without insurance.
Moore will appear at Bolton Crown Court on Wednesday, 24th May, in connection with all the alleged offences.
Greater Manchester Police say officers spotted a Mercedes sports car driving at speed on the East Lancashire Road in Wigan shortly after 3.55am on Friday, 14th October.
They engaged in a pursuit, which came to an end on Arrow Street, Leigh. GMP added that there was then a significant struggle with officers.
The former St Helens, Castleford, Huddersfield, Widnes and London Broncos player who was on the books at Wakefield at the time of his arrest.
He became a free agent in January when he left the club by mutual consent and recently signed for Bradford in the Championship.
