Nathan Brown extends Parramatta stay
Nathan Brown has exercised an option in his Parramatta contract that will see him remain with the Eels until the end of 2021.
The 27-year-old forward confirmed on Wednesday that he exercised the extra year in his deal to give himself certainly as the NRL prepares to restart on May 28.
Brown made his NRL for Wests in 2013 before moving to South Sydney and Parramatta, making 84 first-grade appearances to date. He has earned three caps for Italy via family heritage.
He told NRL.com: “One of the reasons I’m grateful for – to take it up – is that you don’t know what’s going to happen in the future.
“I was lucky enough to have that option in my favour so I took it up. I can get along and play footy now for the rest of the year.”
