Naylor hit with touchline ban
Oldham head coach Scott Naylor has been banned from the touchline by the Rugby Football League.
The former Salford, Bradford Bulls and England centre faces a five-match touchline ban, but three of them are suspended until the end of 2018.
An RFL Operational Rules Tribunal, attended by Naylor and his club chairman Chris Hamilton, found the Roughyeds coach guilty of using foul and abusive language towards multiple match officials during Oldham’s 26-10 win against Sheffield Eagles at Bower Fold on the opening day of the Kingstone Press Championship season.
He has to pay a suspended fine of £125 from a previous case, plus £450 in investigation costs. Naylor has 14 days to submit an appeal.
