One win could be a turning point, insists Cuthbertson
Newcastle Knights‘ Adam Cuthbertson believes one win could be their season turning point.
The Knights are 14th in the NRL ladder after five defeats in a row with the West Tigers their next opponents on Monday and Cuthbertson feels a win here could be the start of the club’s resurgence.
He said, “One win can make a big difference. It’s been a while since we’ve won and I suppose you can forget the feeling. Even out on the training paddock when we split-up into teams and you can get that little bit of a winning feeling.
“You can see how much more the boys enjoy winning rather than being on the team that’s losing.
“If we can just get that winning culture and vibe back into the joint, I think anything is still possible for us this year.”
In the last two years, the 27-year-old has played for the Dragons and the Sharks in the NRL.
