Leeds coach Richard Agar believes Zane Tetevano alone will make the Rhinos a better team, reports Yorkshire Evening Post.
Agar told the Yorkshire Evening Post: “We think that one player alone will significantly improve our team.”
Super Leigh
Iain Thornley eager to put the spark into Leigh’s Super League return, reports the Mirror.
Thornley told the Mirror: “We want to make sure we’re not there just to make up the numbers – that we deserve to be in Super League and stay there.”
Season start delay?
The 2021 Super League season could be delayed by two weeks because of the pandemic, reports League Express.
Super League clubs are set to discuss the season’s start date this Friday, according to League Express.
Shaul progress
Injured full-back Jamie Shaul has a role to play at Hull as he makes progress, reports Hull Live.
Hull coach Brett Hodgson told Hull Live: I have a lot of time for Jamie and we will continue to develop his knowledge of the game while he’s injured.”
Warrington confirm Patton departure
Warrington have confirmed the departure of half-back Declan Patton, reports Warrington Guardian.
The 25-year-old’s contract with the Wolves expired at the end of last season and club officials have confirmed to the Warrington Guardian that his deal has not been renewed.
Lyne on Last
Wakefield centre Reece Lyne is happy to reunite with Andy Last at Trinity, reports The Yorkshire Post.
Lyne told The Yorkshire Post: “It’s great to have him here; he’ll be a really shrewd signing for the club. Massive, really.”
