League 1 club Oldham have signed former Samoa international winger Patrick Ah Van from North Wales Crusaders on a one-year deal for 2023.
The 34-year-old has spent the past two seasons with the Crusaders in League 1, scoring 22 tries in 44 appearances.
Ah Van, who won five caps for Samoa in 2009, is best known for his time at Widnes. He spent eight seasons with the Vikings, scoring 95 tries in 123 games.
Oldham coach Stuart Littler said: “Patrick is a proven, quality player who will bring a wealth of experience.
“He is a really good player with plenty to offer which he has shown against us. He was keen to hear what we want to do next season when me and Chris (Hamilton) met him and we are delighted he has signed.
