Pauli Pauli receives two-match ban
York forward Pauli Pauli has received a two-match ban following the club’s pre-season friendly with Castleford.
The Tigers travelled to York’s new facilities in the LNER Community Stadium. Lee Radford’s side claimed a 32-10 victory in their opening pre-season match.
Five players were hit by discipline action during the clash.
Both James Clare and Liam Harris have been referred to tribunal with Grade D punching.
Harris was sent to the sin bin twice during the clash. He was sent off first for a professional foul. The half-back was also sent off for punching on the 68th minute.
Nathan Massey has been charged with a Grade A Dangerous Contact but received a zero match penalty notice.
Jacob Ogden has received a one-match ban for a Grade B Dangerous Contact.
Pauli Pauli has been also been charged with a Grade B Dangerous Contact, receiving a two-match ban. He was deemed to hit a player late.

Salford pair Sam Luckley and Alex Gerrard both received Grade A Dangerous Contact warnings with no penalty notice. Paul Rowley’s side defeated Swinton 48-12 in their opening pre-season clash.
Halifax’s Jacob Fairbank has received a one-match ban for a Grade B Dangerous Contact. They hosted Wakefield in Scott Grix’s testimonial match.
Workington forward will miss the next two games with a Grade C Dangerous Throw. Whitehaven’s Connor Holliday has also received a one-match ban for a Grade B Dangerous Contact in the same clash.
