Pelissier returns for Catalan
Catalan hooker Eloi Pelissier is set to make his first Super League appearance of the season against Hull KR after recovering from a broken jaw.
Pelissier, 20, broke in to the Dragons first team last season, scoring two tries in 25 appearances, and replacing Julian Bousquet in the 19-man squad, the only change from last weekend’s game against Salford.
The Frenchman suffered the injury in the 44-22 pre-season friendly win over London Broncos, picking up the knock in the first tackle of the game and then playing on for 30 minutes, before the Dragons medical staff realised it was broken.
Despite Pelissier’s return, coach Trent Robinson is still without a number of players through injury and suspension.
Veteran Steve Menzies, Clint Greenshields, Ian Henderson, Louis Anderson, Cyril Stacul and Frederic Vaccari are all on the treatment table, while Setaimata Sa is currently serving a two-match ban.
