Puletua considering postponing retirement

Hull KR prop Tony Puletua has been given a new lease of life by his exit from Salford.

Indeed, the 36-year-old veteran is now reconsidering his decision to retire at the end of the season, and he may continuing playing, possibly with Rovers.

“I’m not sure (about retirement) at the moment. I’m really enjoying the way things are going,” he told the Hull Daily Mail.

“I’m sure I’ll sit down with the club over the next few weeks and see where we go from there. I’ve loved every minute.

“The fans and the club have been great. The boys have been awesome too, making me feel really welcome in the team.

“I’m really enjoying myself and there’s exciting times ahead.”
