Radford: We want to make history
Hull FC are still on course for the treble this season which would be a special achievement for coach Lee Radford.
“Going there and getting the job done is really important. We have obviously not done that as a club and to be a history-making side would be really pleasing,” he told Sky Sports after his side defeated Catalans.
“It is great preparation. The fact that we have picked up no knocks, no injuries is really pleasing.”
The Black and Whites now have a week until their Wembley date in the Challenge Cup final against Warrington.
“It’s a week you enjoy in your career and one we are going to make the most of,” Radford said.
“I am really pleased with how we defended again tonight. We did fantastically well and we are going to need to do that again as we are coming up against a great side.
“I just think this week is about enjoying. We have earnt the right to enjoy the build up to a Challenge Cup final.”
