RAF flier commits to Oxford

Oxford have confirmed that hard-running forward Josh Scott has signed a deal to play for the club in the 2016 season.

Scott, originally from Keighley, is in the RAF, and he played for the GB Combined Forces against their Australian equivalents for Anzac Day in 2015.

“I’ve really enjoyed this year with a great group of lads and the backroom staff is so positive and supportive,” Scott told his club’s official website.

“We had a few highs and lows and I think by keeping a lot of the group together, we can turn a few close games our way next season. The squad is a positive one and one I want to stay in.”
