Reports link Ben Te’o with Irish rugby union

Ben Te’o could be set to jump codes and play rugby union, for Irish province Leinster, according to a report from the Irish Independent.

The South Sydney Rabbitohs forward, a team-mate of the Burgess brothers, has recently been in Dublin for talks, according to the report.

The 27-year-old Samoan international and Queensland State of Origin representative, is out of contract at the end of the season.

Te’o played rugby union as a youngster in New Zealand before moving to Australia at the age of 17.
