Returnees boost Wigan’s cup hopes
Both Warrington and Wigan desperately need a victory in the Challenge Cup on Saturday as they look to salvage something from disappointing seasons so far.
The two teams drew 24-24 at Magic Weekend and neither have won since then, but the Warriors’ squad looks much stronger for this weekend’s game.
Sean O’Loughlin and Sam Tomkins are amongst six returnees for Wigan and Shaun Wane’s team will fancy their chances of progressing to the last four.
Wigan to win by 1-12 points is 7-4 at Betfred and that could be the way to play this one.
