Revenge would be Magic for Roby
Hooker James Roby is relishing the opportunity for revenge at the Magic Weekend.
Roby, 26, has been on the losing side to his club’s arch rivals Wigan twice this season. The most recent defeat was last weekend’s Challenge Cup quarter-final in what was a poor performance from Saints.
The quarter-final was meant to be Saints’ redemption for losing at home to the Warriors in the Good Friday fixture but the increasing score will now have to be settled at the Magic weekend – which is only 11 days away.
“We want our revenge and this means turning them over at Manchester,” said Roby to liverpoolecho.co.uk. “Wigan are our arch rivals and it is always a massively important game for us and the fans so I can’t wait to face them again.”
The Magic Weekend may be close but St Helens‘ next game is away to Leeds Rhinos on Monday night.
