RFL ban Brough for two games
Huddersfield’s Danny Brough has been banned for two games and fined £300 at the RFL’s disciplinary hearing on Tuesday.
Brough was charged with two separate dangerous contact offences in last week’s 26-21 Super League defeat by Castleford.
The 34-year-old pleaded not guilty to Grade B and Grade C Dangerous Contact charges.
He was found guilty on both counts, although the Grade C charge was downgraded to a Grade B.
Brough was cited for two separate incidents involving Jake Webster and Grant Millington.
The latter incident, a ‘cannonball’ tackle, led to Brough being sin-binned and handed Castleford the opportunity to score their winning try.
