Rob Burrow receives MBE
Former Leeds and Great Britain half-back Rob Burrow has received his MBE for services to rugby league and the MND Community.
He was given his MBE by HRH the Princess Royal, who is also the royal patron of the MND Association.

Guy Armitage on life in Toulouse
Toulouse centre Guy Armitage has been talking about his life in Toulouse since making the move over. (Daily Mirror).
Armitage told Daily Mirror: “I’ve moved over with my wife and feel a lot more comfortable in myself. We lived in France for a bit when I was a child so I’m fluent in French. And Steffon’s (Armitage- his brother) at Biarritz now which is about two and a half hours away so I’ve seen him a bit.”
Flanagan duo linked with Leeds
Last week, it was reported that former Cronulla Head Coach Shane Flanagan has been linked with the vacancy at Leeds. (Rugby League Live).
However, his son Kyle, who plays for Canterbury as a half-back, is also being said to be on the Rhinos’ radar.
Matty Lees linked with NRL move
St Helens forward Matty Lees has been linked with several NRL clubs. (Manchester Evening News).
As it stands, Lees is out of contract at the end of the season, and would be free to talk to other clubs.
Cornwall forward Paul Bolger on Ireland dream
Cornwall forward Paul Bolger has said it would be his dream to represent Ireland at a senior level in his career.
He told Love Rugby League: “For me, it’s all about playing the best footy I can. And then hopefully turning the heads of the Ireland coaches and working my way into that Ireland senior setup.
Daryl Powell tipped to change Warrington’s form
Former Castleford star Rangi Chase says Daryl Powell has what it takes to turn Warrington’s form around and create success at the Wolves.
“He’s had success wherever he’s gone,” Chase told Love Rugby League.
