Corentin Le Cam finds new club

Former Catalans forward Corentin Le Cam has made the switch to rugby union with Ceret. (L’Independant)

The France international was released by the Dragons at the conclusion of the 2022 Super League campaign. He made seven Super League appearances last season.

New Zealand star locks in new contract

New Zealand international half-back Dylan Brown has signed a new extended deal with Parramatta Eels in the NRL.

His new contract sees him with the club until the end of 2025, with an option to remain with the Eels until 2031.

He has made 82 appearances in the NRL, and has won five caps for New Zealand.

More than 10,000 runners will participate in the marathon next year on May 14.

Craig Mullen retires

Former Wigan, Leigh and Newcastle utility back Craig Mullen has called time on his career aged just 24.

He told Love Rugby League: “It wasn’t a quick or easy decision. I’ve slowly been falling out of love with the game whilst playing it.

“Speaking right now and being a person who lives in the present, there’s not an awful lot that could pull me back to the game. I’ve had my fun with it and a lot of fun it’s been.

“I’ve got many good memories and there’s been a lot of good people I’ve met along the way.”

Mark Percival testimonial fixture confirmed

St Helens will face Widnes as part of Mark Percival’s testimonial year on January 27, 2023, at the Totally Wicked Stadium.

It will be the club’s only home game until after their World Club Challenge clash with Penrith Panthers.
