James Roby on future

Super League’s all-time appearance holder James Roby is out of contract with Saints at the end of the season. He says he has yet to make a decision on whether this will be his final year in the game or whether he will go around again in 2023.

He said: “I know it is a question that people keep asking me and I’ve not really got a set answer to be honest.

“There’ll always be a part of me that will always want to carry on and there’s a part of me that says it is time to retire now. There are pros and cons for both.”

No disciplinary charges from England fixture

There were no charges for either England or Combined Nations All Stars players following their clash at the Halliwell Jones Stadium on Saturday.

It will come as a relief to clubs as they return to Super League action this week.
