Wakefield Trinity have released a statement following their 102-0 defeat to the Ladies side against Warrington.
Club CEO Michael Carter said that the club tried to rearrange the fixture due to a lack of players – but could not come to an agreement. It meant loaning in six players from Bradford and promoting four more from their Under-19s.
Carter also revealed that they have lost players to rival clubs this year – with no regulations on transfers between teams.
