The half-back has reportedly attracted interest from the NRL, and is off-contract at the end of 2023. He has previously featured for Melbourne Storm and Brisbane Broncos in Australia.
RIP Doddie Weir
Leeds Rhinos, Rob Burrow and Kevin Sinfield have led tributes to Doddie Weir, who sadly passed away aged 52. The former Scotland Rugby Union international had been diagnosed with motor neurone disease six years ago.

Hull prop provides injury update

The former NRL man missed the final two games of the year and had a post-season operation on his knee and has been in rehab since.

World Cup organisers have hailed the impact of the tournament, as they revealed that nearly 30 million people tuned in to watch it on BBC.
All 61 games in the men’s, women’s and wheelchair tournaments were broadcast either live on TV or streamed via the BBC’s platforms, resulting in a cumulative match average audience of 29.24m.

Roy Asotasi returns to NRL club
Former New Zealand captain Roy Asotasi has joined Canterbury’s staff on a part-time basis. (World Wide of Sports)
The 40-year-old made his NRL debut back in 2002 with the club and went on to make more than 250 career appearances, including stints with South Sydney and Warrington.
