Thomas Leuluai injury blow

The 36-year-old left the field during the club’s Good Friday derby with St Helens at the Totally Wicked Stadium.

Head coach Matt Peet has confirmed that Leuluai had suffered a high grade MCL injury.

Luke Keary to consider Ireland’s call

A hip injury prevented Keary from winning Ireland honours at the 2017 tournament. He qualifies through his paternal grandparents.

Keary told 7 News: “They (Ireland) asked in the off-season (just gone) but I honestly haven’t thought about it, I’m six games back from a knee injury.

“If I can get through the season first I’ll start to worry about all that.”

Brad Fash avoids ban

Brad Fash has been cleared of the biting charge against him following the Hull derby on Good Friday at Craven Park.

Fash, 26, was accused by Hull KR’s Elliot Minchella during their clash last Friday.

Meanwhile, Wigan’s Sam Powell has received a six-match ban for a crusher tackle.

Leeds chief executive Gary Hetherington says new appointment Rohan Smith is the ‘perfect candidate’ to take charge at the club.

Smith, 40, will join Headingley Stadium immediately from reigning Queensland Cup Champions Norths Devils.
