Rochdale bring in three new additions
Brandon Wood, Jordan Case and Tyler Whittaker have signed permanent deals with Rochdale following successful trials.
Outside-back Wood joined the Hornets from Rochdale Mayfield last season and has signed a two-year deal with the Championship club.
On signing Wood, Hornets coach Carl Forster said: “Brandon has been quality since he came in.
“He’s been a great trialist and deserves to be playing at this level.
“He’s fitted in really well with everything and he’s certainly one for the future. I’m delighted the club has tied him down for two years.”
Case has returned to the Crown Oil Area following a 12-month sabbatical. The back-rower or centre has impressed during the opening month of the new season.
Half-back Whittaker has put pen to paper on a one-year contract, having previously enjoyed two spells at the club.
