What’s in the papers
Former Salford and Hull forward Jansin Turgut is in a critical condition in hospital after falling from a car park at Ibiza airport, as first reported in the Daily Star.
The City of Hull Academy is to be disbanded and Hull FC and Hull KR will return to running their own set-ups, as part of the changes which will also see the reserve grade return, reports Hull Daily Mail.
Super League should expand to 14 teams to help accommodate the growing number of expansion sides interested in rugby league, writes John Yates in his latest St Helens Reporter column.
