Salford sign Lama Tasi
Salford have announced the signing of Brisbane prop Lama Tasi on a two-year deal.
Tasi, 23, will move to the Red Devils after 3 years in the NRL, which has included a spell with Sydney Roosters as well as the Broncos.
Salford head coach Brian Noble is delighted with the acquisition of the ‘Bondi Bruiser’, and he had this to say:
“I bumped into Lama when he was at the Roosters and not only is he an impressive man, he is an impressive presence and he can play too.
“At 23 we have got an emerging talent from Australia and he will do really well for us. I’m excited.”
Tasi was named in Queensland’s Emerging Squad in 2012, and was also recently included in Samoa‘s initial train-on squad for the upcoming World Cup.
