Sam Burgess cleared by NRL for ‘sexting’ investigation
Sam Burgess has been cleared by an investigation into claims South Sydney players had been involved in a ‘sexting’ scandal.
The England international has denied sending lewd images after being cleared of sending exposed images to a woman.
A five-person panel was ‘not satisfied any South Sydney player engaged in any actionable misconduct’.
Newspaper reports Down Under claimed two players from the Rabbitohs had exposed themselves in a video chat with a woman in May.
Burgess has now been cleared of the allegation and he has denied sending any images to the woman.
He posted on Twitter: “I have not sexted anyone.
“I have given a full account to the inquiry and answered every question asked.”
