Sam Moa to miss start of Super League season
Catalans prop Sam Moa will miss the start of the new Super League season due to surgery on his wrist.
The 33-year-old suffered a fractured wrist in July last year and will need another operation on his wrist.
The Dragons have not said how long he will be ruled out for, but the average time it takes for a broken radius to heal is six to eight weeks.
In a short statement released by Catalans, it read: “He is currently unavailable and his recovery will dictate his return.
“He will have full support of the medical and performance staff during his rehabilitation period.”
Moa has not featured for the Dragons since the end of June 2019.
